SAP Basis Senior Consultant Required for 6 Months Contract

SAP Basis Senior Consultant required for 6 months contract in Switzerland. English speaking project, German is desirable.
Job Title: SAP Basis Senior Consultant
Period: 6 months with possibility to extend
Location: Basel, Switzerland

Responsibilities:
* Installation and configuration of the various SAP Products according to the Novartis SAP Reference Architecture
* SAP system migrations based on SAP ARMM migration factory model according detailed cutover planning
* Technical testing incl. assisting in cluster testing, disaster recovery, backup/restore
* SAP Basis Operation for all delivered components
* Provide SAP Basis problem solving, technical support and expert advice
* Close collaboration with the customer during project and execution
* Timely delivering of required components according to the project schedule
* Ensure compliance in all aspects of the delivered services (GxP, SoX, CSV)
* Handover support to Operations including knowhow transfer and coaching
* Support functional testing (if technical support needed)
* Scope and requirement definition, Implementation and Documentation in case of Proof-of-concepts (PoC) if required
* 2nd level support and handling of the Incident- and Change-Management

Required skills:
* Business Fluent in English
* German desirable
* ITIL Certification is an advantage
* Several years of experience in SAP Basis installation and operation on IBM AIX environments
* Several years of experience with Oracle DB's
* Experience with PowerHA, IBM Flash Copy, Oracle RMAN, Libelle Business Shadow is a true asset
* Several years of experience with OS/DB Migrations with different SAP migration and 3rd party methods (Libelle Business Shadow, Database export/import, ...)
* SAP certified OS/DB Migration Consultant is a true asset
* Experience with SAP ARMM reference architecture, Project methodology and Migration factory model is an true asset
* Experience with MS Office Tools and MS SharePoint
* Team work in a challenging IT environment
* Ability to work in an international as well as multicultural environment
* Good written and verbal communication skills
* Flexibility and experience in prioritizing tasks
* Ability to deal with variable workload
* Traveling ability (Approx 10%), Including USA
* English Speaking Assignment
