SAP BASIS CONSULTANTS #
GHENT, BELGIUM
START DATE: 01-01-2016/
DURATION: 6 months initially
Candidates must already be able to work in the Belgium without need for work permits, etc.
ROLE
We have a contract opportunity available for several experienced SAP Basis Consultants for a project in Ghent, Belgium.
The role involves working with the SAP Service Support team to provide support for the following SAP platforms:
- ECC 6.0, ADS, BI, CRM, Gateway, Mobile, PI, PO, Portal, SAPConsole, SLD, Solution Manager, SRM and SAP BO (including Data Services, Event Insight and Predictive Workbench).
The focus of the job are: Incident & Problem Management, Capacity Management, Analysis of the EWA reports, Tuning of the SAP system, so the performance can be guaranteed, Execution of installations, Patching and Upgrades, Performing refreshes and copies.
Required Skills
Candidates should possess very strong experience in the following areas:
- Solid experience with SAP Basis
- Proven experience working in SAP Basis projects
- Solid experience with database management systems, SAP (Oracle)
- Solid experience with solving performance problems with SAP systems
- Strong technical knowledge of several of the SAP systems listed above (eg ECC 6.0, ADS, BI, CRM, etc.)
- Experience with installations of multiple SAP systems listed above (eg ECC 6.0, ADS, BI, CRM, etc.)
- Proven experience in the tuning of SAP systems
- Experience with installation and implementation of SAP Netweaver systems
- Knowledge and experience in administration of Linux systems
- Knowledge and experience with Oracle
- Experience in managing SAP BO Data Services is a must
- Experience in managing SAP BO Event Insight is a must
- Experience in setting up and managing Charm & Retrofitting in Solution Manager
- Fluent in DUTCH and has a good knowledge of English
NICE TO HAVE:
- Experience with ITIL processes

CONTRACT
The contract has an initial duration of 6 months with likelihood of extension.
