SAP Basis Consultants

Our client a leading Utility company have openings on their team for 3-4 SAP Basis Consultants.

They are looking for people with the following skills and experience:

- Optimizing, monitoring and configuring the SAP environments - Development, Test and Production systems in line with business requirements, perform system refreshes, application of support packs, support pack stacks using standard tools, Kernel upgrades, implementation of SAP notes etc.
- Core experience working with SAP ECC 6.0, SAP PI, SAP ISU, SAP BW/BO, Solution Manager configuration, Netweaver etc.
- Database administration IBM DB2/6, ability to perform database upgrades, apply Fix packs, optimizing and tuning databases.
- SAP HANA, MCFU experience desirable but not essential
- Experience with SAP Implementations, upgrades and maintenance are essential with hands on experience of High volume SAP systems.

You will work with a team of experts in the following capacity:

- Support of core business processes
- Skills/Knowledge Transfer within Projects and to Support teams, as part of IT Transition process
- Preventative maintenance tasks to ensure IT systems are operational and secure, and to prevent future incidents
- Troubleshooting incident and problem resolution, maintaining the highest levels of customer satisfaction possible
- Batch monitoring and recovery of failures with a view to improving the system/batch performance
- Documenting procedures and processes for Enterprise systems and interfacing systems
- Working alongside Team Leads, Delivery Leads, Functional SME's and Solution Architects to Identify and manage risks
