SAP Basis Consultant

Portland Resourcing is currently seeking a SAP Basis Consultant for one of our global clients based in Mexico for a 24 month contract starting ASAP.

Our client is undergoing several projects and their existing team requires additional support to help with the increasing workload.

For the Basis Customer Responsible role we are looking for the following experience:

*Fluent in English
*Must have 4+ years' experience doing client facing of SAP Basis Administration and administering Basis working teams
*Experience working in an international environment
*Must be able to demonstrate performance tuning expertise to support stress testing in a highly stressful environment.
*Must have strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem solving abilities on ABAP Stack, J2EE Stack and Dual Stack.
*Very strong technical and troubleshooting skills on Oracle Database.
*Must have experience with large scale projects and large-sized heterogeneous environments.
*Experience and advanced knowledge of installation and upgrades
*Provides technical and analytical guidance to department staff members and recommends and/or takes action to direct the analysis and solutions to problems.

Secondary Responsibilities:
*Advanced level system architecture and landscape design expertise.
*Reviews and documents problems with external SAP support personnel.
*Must be willing to provide on-call support outside normal business hours as needed
*Strong communication skills
*Ability to work well in a large team
