SAP Basis/BODS Consultant

SAP Basis/BODS project in Rotterdam, the Netherlands

Enterprise Partners is currently looking for a SAP Basis/BODS consultant for their customer in South Holland.

The main activities (primary) run around Solution Manager. In addition to connecting Servers to Solution Manager, upgrades must also be made and the Solution managers need to be further perfected so that day-to-day management becomes more efficient.

Another primary task is to analyze and Remedy incidents. He/she makes risk and impact analyzes for changes, which he/she performs and test the result. Training of trainees is also part of the task package.

In addition (secondary), the employee must perform daily checks, performance checks and benchmarks. The employee determines important indicators and trends. He/she is responsible for testing connection routes and ensures optimal throughput of jobs and batches. He or she performs new installations and upgrades, independently or in a team, and carries out transportation tasks.

You may also be involved in various projects. Projects as migrations to our state-of-the-art new government data center (ODC) or the creation of a mobile SAP platform. A start is also made with the transition to In-memory technology (HANA). Complex SAP-related security issues are addressed and we ask for expertise in solving this.

Requirements

- SAP netweaver certified 7.1
- Broad experience with Solution Manager (management but also implementation and upgrades)
- a completed university or university degree program with a technical or ICT background;
- Minimum five years experience as Senior SAP Basic Consultant;
- thorough knowledge of at least Oracle databases;

Important in this function is that the candidate has good knowledge and experience with BODS - Business Objects Data Services

Extensive experience in setting up, installing and upgrading solution manager

- Be able to relate broadly across the product and the underlying layer and understand the issues of customers;
- Comprehensive knowledge of at least one OS platform (Windows/Unix/Linux);
