SAP Basis (BC) Consultant - Belgium (near Gent)

Languages: ENGLISH and DUTCH

Skills and experience:

- Good knowledge of SAP BC
- Good knowledge of database management systems to SAP (Oracle)
- Good knowledge of solving performance problems of SAP systems
- Technical knowledge of SAP systems
- Some experience with installations on SAP systems
- At least 2 years proven experience in SAP BC projects
- Proven experience in the tuning of SAP systems
- Installation and implementation of SAP Netweaver systems
- Knowledge and experience with administration of HPUX, AIX, Linux systems
- Knowledge and experience with Oracle DBA
- Experience with ITIL processes is an asset

Description of work:

- Provide support on the following platforms: SAP R/3, ECC 6.0, ADS, BI, CRM, Mobile, PI, Portal, SAPConsole, SLD, Solution Manager, SRM and SAP BO (incl. Data Services, Event Insight & Predictive Workbench).
- Implement the daily "keep it running" activities
- Incident & Problem Management
- Follow up and assist with planned interventions by the outsourcing partner
- Analyze the EWA reports
- Tuning of the SAP systems, so the performance can be guaranteed
- Follow-up change & release process
