SAP Basis Administrator

Yoh has a contract opportunity for a SAP BASIS ADMINISTRATOR for our client in Palo Alto, CA.

JOB OVERVIEW:

- BASIS Administrator part of team supporting software development.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Setup, installation, post installation and configuration of new SAP systems
- Installation of all required components (eg software, hardware, network) according to existing documentation
- BASIS support (incidents and service request)
- Upgrades and maintenance of components
- Proactive system analysis
- System monitoring
- Supports security officer in implementation of security measurements
- Database administration of SAP systems on MAXDB, HANA, DB2
- Perform SAP system copy/move
- Basic administration of Windows and Linux OS
- Work with IT infrastructure like reverse Proxy, Middleware and mobile components

Job Qualifications:

- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related field
- SAP Basis Administration
- Database administration
- Knowledge of SAP HANA a plus
- Experience with IT infrastructure like reverse Proxy, Netscaler, mobile infrastructure highly desirable
- Broad understanding of SAP products
