SAP Basis Administrator

A fantastic opportunity has become available for a SAP Basis Administrator to ensure the SAP system is maintained and that core corporate finance functions, including staff payroll, are operational.

Your duties:

- Undertake maintenance activities associated with the SAP finance system, including SAP ERP, CRM, SRM, PI, EP, BI, ADS, SLD and Solution Manager on Netweaver release 700 and upwards (ABAP and JAVA stack)
- Provide level 2+ SAP technical support including the resolution of assigned service requests
- Carry out system performance tuning, monitoring, capacity planning, maintenance patching and new version installation
- Provide environment migration support including moving objects between environments within the SAP landscape and trouble-shooting SAP issues
- Develop, maintain and report compliance with standard processes

Your background:

- Extensive experience with SAP Basis Administration
- Experience of virtual hosting software, Oracle Databases and Unix/Linux
- Proven experience providing SAP support in a large organisation
- The ability to develop technical specifications with functional and technical teams
- Knowledge of ITIL and/or SAP methodologies and tools, preferably including Solution Manager
- Strong leadership, problem solving, troubleshooting and analytical skills
- High level technical documentation skills and general written, oral and interpersonal communication skills
