Krish IT Solutions is an established consultancy in SAP Oil and Gas sector with offices in India, UK, US and Oman. One of our prestigious client is looking for senior SAP Basis consultant. with strong experience in SolMan.

Experience/Qualifications Needed

- Minimum of 5 Years of SAP Experience in specialized domain
- Hands-on involvement in a minimum of 2 Full Cycle SAP BW Netwaver upgrade 7.0 to 7.3 Implementations
- Hands-on experience in splitting Java & ABAP stacks instances of BW 7.0 systems and implementing them on same physical server.
- Hands-on involvement in a minimum of 2 Full Cycle Oracle upgrade 10g to 11g version Implementations
- Hands-on involvement in a minimum of 2 Full Cycle SAP SolMan Netwaver upgrade 7.0 to 7.3 Implementations
- Hands-on experience in Enhancement Packs upgrades, and SPS & OSS notes Implementations.
- Hands-on experience in Unix AIX support, implementations, and upgrades
- Hands-on experience in various SAP systems, components, and Back End patching and upgrades.
- Experience in configuration of all systems in SolMan (SLD, SMSY, Early Watch, and etc..).
- Experience in configuration of SolMan CHARM transport management system is a plus.
- Experience in integration and support areas like database backup, recovery, restore etc.
- Experience in BIA configuration, support and maintenance is a plus.
- BW Production Basis/Technical Support experience BW 7.3 upgrade knowledge
- SAP Certified Basis/Technology consultant Energetic professional with at least 8 years experience with proven delivery capability Bachelor degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- Strong Technical Skills (Maintenance/Enhancement - Configuration, Trouble-shooting, User Support & Incident Resolution, interfaces, testing, BASIS etc.) Strong knowledge of technical processes in specialized domain with fair knowledge of other areas of SAP Strong appreciation of integration aspects
- Excellent management, communication, presentation, facilitation, interpersonal and teamwork skills
- Previous Oil & Gas Industry Experience is a plus Flexible as regards moving from project to project and in assimilating new technologies.

Accountabilities

- Split Java & ABAP stacks instances of BW 7.0 systems and implementing them on same physical server for 4 landscapes.
- Involve and assist in upgrading 4 BW 7.0 landscapes Database from Oracle 10g to 11g version.
- Setting and maintaining SAP systems and applications parameters and system configuration for Oracle database10g to 11g Setting and maintaining SAP systems and applications parameters and system configuration after SPS, operating system patches implementations and technical changes in all SAP () landscape as applicable
- Assess workability of proposed upgrades and implementations of SAP systems and provide feedback to Solution Architects. Review and analyze SPS side effects and provide alternative solutions with pros and cons of each alternative including the impact analysis on solution and process integrity as applicable.
- Review and analyze business technical requirements and provide alternative solutions with pros and cons of each alternative including the impact analysis on solution and process integrity Check configuration changes after go-live and perform configuration audits Go-Live support troubleshooting and resolution and tuning.
- Knowledge Transfer of all activities executed. Document implemented technical requirements and activities (conceptual and detailed design documents, blueprint presentations, technical specs, upgrades and implementations runbook/cookbook, technical testing scenarios/scripts, Knowledge Transfer, support documents etc.).
- Responsible for the resolution of all technical support issues related to implementations and upgrades.
- Assist and advice Basis team in technical support issues. Ensure the development of adequate business procedural documentation Organize or participate in business blueprint workshops and identify issues and gaps
- Conduct root cause analysis and manage problems for the entire life cycle and assess efficiency and effectiveness of Problem Management Customize the system according to the approved requirements (configuration and development).
- Review completeness of logged incidents and resulted change requests of bugs and errors
- Ensure integration between system components Prepare technical test plans, manage the execution of all types of technical testing (unit, integration, dry run, regression, performance) as applicable. Develop technical specs for new change requests if required.
