DESCRIPTION: 

We are looking for a senior SAP Application Expert with long SAP experience and with several years of experience from material master solutions in SAP, ie configuration of the SAP standard application and definition of functional specifications for enhancements, integrations and data migration. 

THE FUNCTIONAL AREA BASE DATA SCOPE INCLUDES: 
Common Base Data (eg Article master, Article Hierarchy, Suppliers, Merchandise Categories etc.) 
Enterprise Structure within Finance, Sales and Logistics (eg Company, Planning Market, Retail Store etc.) 
Based on: 
SAP ECC for Retail 

TASKS 

The primary tasks for the Application Expert are: 
Provide software expertise 
Provide system analysis 
Have solution overview 
Participate in requirement meetings with the business to define and document the complete scope and map against current solution 
Be responsible for realization of requirements in the future solution 
Provide functional solutions and specifications for development of Enhancements, Integrations and Conversions. 
Design and functional expertise of integration and enhancements 
Identify test scenarios that reflect the requirements and be part of execution of tests, both cross projects and to surrounding systems outside SAP 
Communicate status effectively in writing and verbally with internal and external stakeholders 
Use own knowledge/experience and problem solving skills to creatively resolve complex issues and choose the best course of action 
Transfer software product knowledge to customer persons, let them perform system related configuration etc 

SPECIFIC SKILLS 

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS 
More than 10 years of experience of the design, concepts, principles and configuration in SAP ECC. 
Thorough understanding of and experience from master data setup in SAP ECC, with special focus on: 
o Supplier/vendor master and/or Material master 
o Enterprise Structure 
Inbound and outbound integration know-how regarding SAP ECC 
Thorough understanding of the technical components and development in SAP 
Understanding of technical architectural concepts 
Experience from large, global organizations 
Excellent verbal communication and documentation capacity in English 
Leading experience from other implementation projects 

QUALIFYING 
Knowledge in SAP ECC for Retail 
Certification in the SAP software products' latest releases 
Business process experience 
Experience of SAP ABAP development and programming 

TOOLS 

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS: 
SAP Solution Manager experience (and certification) 

QUALIFYING: 
ARIS for information modelling 
Visio 
HP Quality Center 

OTHERS 
Adoptable to the customers methods and tools - and working environment 
Excellent managing of deliverables ( to-do lists ), time management, communication (oral and written), presentation, and organizational skills 
Strong working knowledge of office-related automation tools: PC, word processing, spreadsheet etc.
