SAP Application Administrator

SAP APPLICATION ADMIN

My client is currently seeking for a SAP Application Admin to work on a long term contract in Brussels, Belgium.

As a SAP Application Admin, you will be required to have be skilled within the following:

- 3+ years of experience in managing an application using SAP Basis and SAP SolMan
- Experience with SAP Process Integration (monitoring of SAP PI + interface development), SOAP over JMS and XML is an asset;
- Knowledge about SAP Banking Services is an asset
- Experience in banking (payments and cash management) is an asset
- An excellent written and spoken knowledge of English

As a SAP Application Admin, you will be required to do the following:

- Responsible for the development, improvement, performance and maintenance
- Giving technical support and communicating the required information to all stakeholders (related parties, designer, programmer
- Ensuring continuity and cohesion in the maintenance of the applications under your responsibility. This covers among others: the resolution of incidents, Application LCM and Release;
- Giving advice for new projects. This covers solution proposals, workload estimations, integration of solutions in the process of maintenance and releases;
- Documentation and knowledge management: ensuring that the applicative documentation is up to date; making sure that sufficient knowledge of the application is available in the team;
- Change acceptance: as application administrator, you are responsible for accepting changes to your application that were executed by the project team. You assess the maturity of the projects and its release deliverable.
