Projektbeschreibung

Job description:

*Provide solutions and guidance for support tickets, mainly for the APO SNP/PPDS functionality.

*Provide solution and direction for more complex issues. Focus on simple and robust solutions.

*Agree solution with the offshore support team. Guide and follow up the solution implementation end-to-end.

*Provide clear and structured feedback to the client's functional lead and issues and solution progress.

*Understand and evaluate business requirements, identify the changes to the template and translate them into functional specification and technical design.

*Analyse, provide solution proposal and an agreed effort estimate for requested changes.

*Perform hands-on configuration and instruct ABAP programmers.

*Define unit test scenarios and execute unit testing. Document test scripts and test evidence in testing tool (HP Quality center).

*Define integration test scenarios and execute integration testing. Document the scripts and evidence in the testing tool.

*Assist business users during UAT.

*Perform Regression test scenarios for testing the existing functionalities against changes.

*Provide post go-live support and drive the smooth transition of the support to the respective teams

*With the other team members, be accountable for on time delivery of the project deliverables.

Required skills:

Senior level APO - SNP/PPDS: Excellent knowledge of the APO SNP/PPDS modules in addition to good knowledge of ABAP.

Good knowledge of the integration points with logistics modules like Sales and distribution (SD).

Knowledge of APO DP and SAP BW.is a plus.

Experience: Have at least 5 to 8 year of experience working with hands on SAP APO consulting.

Communication Skills: Very good knowledge of English, both written and spoken. Require excellent communication skills towards key users on functional level and towards the support team on functional/technical level.

Functional skills:

*Have a good functional understanding about SCM processes.

*Should be able to translate business requirements into simple and robust SAP/APO solutions.

*Should possess excellent documenting skills: specifying the solution clearly in functional and technical design documents.

*Identify test plan and test cases to test the solution.

*Translate functional and technical design to appropriate test scripts.

*Required strong adherence to the SDLC.

Desired skills:

*Strong problem solving and analytical skills.

*Quick learner, motivated self starter.

*Able to work independently, meanwhile providing clear overview of status and progress to the client's functional lead.

*Strong administrative skills. 100 % documentation and logging adherence is a must.

*Experience in working with a virtual team and collaboration with off-shore ABAP team

*Experience in working with an international environment, with key users located across different geographical regions.

*Experience working with GxP environment.
