SAP APO - D&SP Specialist

For a major international client in Vevey, we are looking for a:

SAP APO - GT SC DEMAND& SUPPLY PLANNING SPECIALIST

to drive the solution and development from the evaluation of the needs, through all stages of the development until GCs & markets support by providing strong technical guidance in order to establish the adequate level of documentation to ease the deployment of the solution.

RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

- DESIGN AND CONSTRUCT THE SOLUTION SUPPORTING THE BUSINESS NEEDS FROM CONCEPT TO SUSTAIN PHASE, THIS INCLUDES CREATION AND MAINTENANCE OF THE SUPPORTING DOCUMENTATION.
- Establish the processes to reduce the operational costs and to ensure the evolution of the solution.
- Provide support to our client's markets and GC's in order to leverage the usage of the solution and ease the deployment of new developments.
- Ensure compliance and consistency with the template design by validating the requirements using business experience, PROCESS KNOWLEDGE AND/OR SAP SCM AND ERP SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE (FITGAP VALIDATION).
- Knowledge transfer to the implementation teams, delocalised centres (GCs) and markets.
- Create and maintain support tools to ensure that the GCs and markets are able to implement the solution in line with the solution design.
- Sustain 3rd Level: RESOLVE INCIDENTS, REQUESTS and Problem tickets assigned to the D&SP team within the service level agreed with the markets.
- Flexibility to support GC's & market for any relevant business requirement deemed necessary (eg Blueprint, Fitgap assessment, Knowledge transfer and even business recovery).

CANDIDATES MUST BE ABLE TO DEMONSTRATE:

- Very good knowledge of SAP-APO SNP/G-ATP, DP &/or PP/DS preferred
- Knowledge of SAP-R/3SD, MM, PP, MRP preferred
- Knowledge of SAP-BW preferred
- BASIC ABAP KNOWLEDGE (DEBUGGING) REQUIRED
- Minimum 2 years end to end working experience in large scale SAP configuration & implementation
- Good communication skills in English

THIS IS A CONTRACT POSITION WITH AN INTERNATIONAL CLIENT FOR 6 MONTHS IN THE FIRST INSTANCE.

THE CLIENT IS LOCATED ON LAKE GENEVA, IN VEVEY.
