SAP Analyst - Alpharetta

A stable but growing company located in Alpharetta has an immediate need for an SAP Analyst on a contract to permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity that offers much variety on a day-to-day basis. You would be working directly with the Director of IT as well as the Controller on many different roles such as leading workshops and user support. 75% of your day will consist of managing the different SAP tasks assigned and 25% of your day will be working with users. After hours on-call support is required as assigned. No college degree or certs required.

REQUIREMENTS:

Experience having worked on Interfaces/EDI
Experience/familiarity in Cross-Module integration of SD with MM, FI and CO-PA
Must be familiar with FI, MM, DS, CO, COPA
Expert working SAP knowledge

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Support, training and development of SAP FI/CO/MM/SD module
Lead workshops, handle design and blueprint of documents, configuration and support
Responsible for providing functional expertise, guidance, presentation, and instruction on SAP products to internal clients
Acts as liaison with internal clients for troubleshooting: investigates, analyses, and solves software problems and maps client business requirements, processes and objectives; develops necessary product modifications to satisfy clients' needs.
Provide application consultancy to key stake holders
Coordinate all FI/CO/MM/SD related Functional and Technical needs, implementations and issues
Coordinate with SAP and non-SAP cross functional teams on integration points between modules by taking ownership
Support and train SAP users and liaise with project, support teams and vendors
Write detailed functional specifications, Define Data Mapping documents, To-Be Process design documents
Liaison with IT and business users to deliver best solutions and to meet their business needs
Perform analysis on existing business processes, identify improvement opportunities using best practices
Ability to examine system support problems and correct
Support Production activities and implement projects concurrently
Create and conduct test plans to ensure proper testing of business processes and participates in integration testing and user acceptance testing
After hours on-call support as required and assigned

Configuration expertise in the areas of Order Management, Deliveries, Shipping, Billing, Pricing, Output determination, transfer of requirements, Availability check, Credit Management, Batch Management, EDI, Inter Company Business Process, Returns Processing, I/C, STO
Coordinate BASIS update projects as necessary
