We are currently looking for a SAP technico-Functional specialist consultant (ABAP, test oriented) for one of our client in Belgium (Flanders)
Description:
You develop, test and document application code according to the standards and on the basis of technical and functional specifications, and this in the context of projects, maintenance, user support and bugfixing. Commands are sent by the module specialists of the different functional domains (FI/CO, MM, PM/PS/CS/SD, ISU, WM). Optimization of existing Z-programs can also be part of this contract. You will both be enabled on the projects and Inventory ORION (a planning tool for contractors) and maintenance tasks Logistics. You're usable for both the Front End technologies (50%) and ABAP jobs (50%).
Tasks:
- You write, test and document the &code& in the development environment.
- You leave this to the technical specifications drawn up by specialists module.
- You takes into account development guidelines and the internal IT standards.
- You apply scrupulously the methods in the context of the change and release management process far.
- You provide technical advice to the business analyst or designer in the case of changes to applications.
- You ensure proper evaluation of the technical feasibility of the request.
- You treat tickets as part of the incident management process.
- You will report to the relevant module specialists and designers.
Expected experience:
- You have at least 4 years experience in a similar position, ABAP programmer, and environment.
- You have experience in projects and maintenance tasks on complex SAP systems.
- You're thoroughly prepared to work in the applications and implemented processes.
- Demonstrated experience with Front End technologies is required (html5, JavaScript, etc).
- Experience in optimizing existing Z-programs is a major asset.
- Practical experience with ABAP WebDynpro is a plus.
- Experience with Adobe print forms and Adobe Interactive Forms is an asset.
Additional specifications Communication:
- Communication skills, you informs and consults when needed.
- You have good knowledge of Dutch.
- You have knowledge of English for use in the field.
The following areas of knowledge, experience and skills are considered as an asset:
- Experience with ITIL processes.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
Expected knowledge Technical:
- Knowledge of HTML5 and CSS.
- Knowledge of Javascript, jQuery, Knockout and other JS frameworks and JSON.
- Good knowledge of ABAP programming language and the ABAP workbench with basic knowledge of BSP.
- Development of Z-programs, user exits, function modules, debugging, performance improvements and problem solving.
- Good knowledge of Web Dynpro is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of some of the other functional modules, such as described in the command description.
