SAP ABAP Portals Developer with HCM Performance Management/Italy

Next Ventures is urgently looking for a Technical ABAP Portals Developer with HCM Performance Management experience. You will form part of an existing Team implementing HCM at our client.

Skills required:
English or Italian speaker
ABAP Portals Development skills in SAP HCM Performance Management environment.
Webdynpro ABAP experience in SAP HCM Performance Management environment
BSP experience
ESS/MSS and OO - nice to have ( added 17/3 15)

Start date: Immediately.

Location: Milan, Italy

Specialist/Expert Level - SAP Developer (Objective settings and appraisals Portal)

Job Description:
Provides team leadership and consulting expertise on SAP Performance management solution (SAP HR-OSA module). Works frequently on the following technologies: SAP Portal, SAP based web applications using ABAP Objects, Webdynpro, BSP and other SAP technologies.
Knowledge of

Technical Delivery:

Responsibilities include (but not limited to):
- Able to manage projects from the development cycle and objects from requirements gathering to development, testing and promote to production.
- Create design monitoring concept for error handling.
- Able to manage the interfacing between cross functional SAP applications.
- Monitor and resolve system application errors as well as support field mapping.
- Oversee installations and ensure that appropriate recommendations for change are made.
- Participate and lead project proposals and presentations.

Knowledge and skills required:
- Experience with SAP HR, ESS and MSS integration.
- Proficient and transversal functional/technical knowledge of Performance Management Process and SAP configuration for Objective Settings and Appraisal ( Deep knowledge of SAP HR-OSA Module + PD + OM Modules)
- Knowledge of service transition methodology, tools and templates.
- Expert skills in ABAP OO including TDD methodologies.
- Good Knowledge of web/server system development and Internet/Intranet programming including WDA and WAD.
- Deep knowledge of BSP and WebDynpro ABAP technologies
- Deep knowledge of BSP theming and custom HTML coding
- Basic portal knowledge
- English Fluent + Italian (preferred but not mandatory).

Qualifications:
- 5-8 years of relevant SAP experience.
- Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems, or equivalent applicable work experience.
