ABAP ISU EXPERT PROGRAMMER/DEVELOPER
( IS-U/IS UTILITIES )
DURATION: 1 year - Start date 01/06/2016 - End date 31/05/2017
LOCATION: Brussels OR Ghent
MINIMAL LANGUAGES: English ( Dutch and/or French is a plus)
JOB DESCRIPTION:
You will be enabled as ABAP ISU developer and as part of the ABAP ISU project you will also be conducting maintenance tasks, bugfixing and user support can also be part of this command. Commands are sent by the designers and analysts.
TASKS:
- ABAP ISU Developer will write, test and document the code in the development environment.
- ABAP ISU Developer will leave to do so by the technical specifications drawn up by the analyst.
- ABAP ISU Developer will work actively in the training and knowledge transfer to your colleagues.
- ABAP ISU Developer will take into account the internal IT development guidelines and standards.
- You fit closely the practices in the context of the change and release management process.
- You provide technical advice to the analyst or designer.
- You take care of correct evaluations of the technical feasibility of the requests.
- Treats you tickets as part of the incident management process.
- You will report to the concerned domain experts and designers. "
MANDATORY SKILLS:
- Very good knowledge of the ABAP programming language and of the ABAP workbench.
- Development, debugging and optimization ( + problem solving) of Z-programs, user exits and function modules.
- Broad knowledge of interfacing with Web services, flat files, idocs, XML, etc.
- Knowledge of ABAP OO.
EXPERIENCE:
- You need at least 6 years' experience in a similar position, ABAP programmer, and the surrounding area.
- You have experience in projects or maintenance contracts on complex SAP systems.
- You are willing to work in the applications and your thoroughly-implemented processes.
- Experience in optimizing existing Z-programs.
- Experience in interfacing with Web services, flat files, idocs, XML, etc.
SKILLS:
- You can both in close cooperation with the team as an independent you execute commands.
- You have an analytical mind, are eager to learn and very accurate.
- You wear with a passion for quality.
- You have a great sense of responsibility.
COMMUNICATION:
- Have good communication skills, your informs and consults when necessary.
- You have knowledge of English for the use in the field.
NICE TO HAVE'S
- Knowledge of ISU, PM, CS are a plus.
- Experience with ITIL processes.
