SAP ABAP Developer - Zurich - 2 days in Total

SAP ABAP Developer required for short term contract position in Zurich in the first half of May 2017. The contract will last approximately 2 days, to be delivered on-site in Zurich. The purpose of the role will be to work together with the Client and their SQL expert to reconstruct an SAP report, regarding VAT, from SAP ABAP into SQL.

Responsibilities
* Analyse the report to understand what it is doing, where it is pulling data from, etc
* Identify all SAP tables (accessed in the program both directly or via function modules/BADIs ) required to build "Balance per company code" (eg BSET, T007A, T007B ), and the logic to join and filter them
* Sit together with SQL expert and explain which tables are involved in the report, how they are joined and filtered
* Provide all SAP expertise required for the Client to reconstruct the SAP report in SQL

Required experience
* Extensive background in SAP ABAP development and SAP implementation
* Knowledge of VAT in SAP (nice to have)
* Knowledge of common pitfalls and smart approaches in this area
* Fluent English language skills
