SAP ABAP Developer - 12 Months Contract

Our large federal government client is currently looking for an experienced SAP ABAP Developer to provide production and project support for the SAP landscape including Technical analysis, code build of Business Functional requirements, research and development, production system support changes, unit testing and provision of technical support in testing activities, new systems enhancements and maintaining other corporate systems.

This is a 12 MONTH CONTRACT and will include 1x12 month extension option.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Providing support for the SAP environment.
- Providing SAP architectural services for the Enterprise Applications suite of products.
- Providing high level ABAP programming skills.
- Transferring skills and knowledge to less experienced team members and provide mentoring.

SELECTION CRITERIA:

- Expert level ABAP programming skills, particularly as they apply to one or more of the SAP HR, BI and SRM modules.
- The ability to provide high level advice and assistance in the support of a large SAP landscape, including SAP R/3, SAP Web Application Server, SAP BI, SAP Internet Transaction Server and SAP Enterprise Portal (including SAP Workplace).
- Experience in developing and maintaining applications interfacing into an SAP environment, specifically .NET applications developed using the SAP .NET Connector, Web Services operating in a Microsoft Environment, SAP WebDynpro and SAP.
- Experience in the maintenance and management of a large SAP landscape in a SQL 2000/Windows 2003 landscape is an advantage.
