SAN Storage/IBM Storwize Consultant

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATION:
Minimum of 6-10 years' experience in NASBackup Technology
Degree from an accredited college or University
ITIL Certified.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Administer SAN Storage arrays; SAN Switch
Production support and troubleshooting
Knowledge in Brocade 300 series Switches and its operations
Proficiency in Enterprise Storage Array subsystems - NetApp, IBM Storwize family
Allocate and de-allocate LUNs, NFS, and CIFS as needed in an multiprotocol environment
Manage SnapShot, Deduplications, SnapRestore, FlexClone schedules.
Work with NetApp OnCommand Insight to provide reports to management
Basic understanding of NetApp Antivirus security
Experience with Symantec NetBackup Technology: NBU Appliances
Monitor backup job schedule and performance
Solve issues with backups and restores
Well versed in NDMP backup, VM Backups using NBU appliance, RMAN Backup, TLog backups.
Proactively oversees resolution of backup/recovery service disruptions and implementation of preventative measures.
Good knowledge in Storage Life cycle Policies
Support Backup and Recovery software platforms
Knowledge on IBM PureFlex solution for IBM i

PREFERRED:
Any certification in StorageNCSA ( NetApp Certified)
Any IT security certifications
Experience of working with remotely and to guide touch services.
Additional skills on Servers, Antivirus software management will be added advantage.
