Senior Salesforce Developer

We are looking for a Senior Salesforce developer to advance the development efforts of the Group (eCG) central Salesforce platform. In this position, you will play a key role as a development expert for Salesforce and related applications where you will be implementing an advanced Salesforce solution that will support multiple organizations.

Core Duties:

* Work directly with our business customers to collect, analyze and refine business, functional, and technical requirements
* Manage all aspects of the Salesforce CRM platform including, data, contacts, leads, custom objects, workflows, profiles, roles, etc.
* Develop and maintain Visual Force, APEX, App Exchange apps, Force pages, and integration APIs
* Document and develop code according to specifications and standards
* Prepare test plan with data and conduct basic unit and/or module testing
* Provide guidance and support for offshore development efforts
* Manage Quality Assurance and defect resolution efforts
* Work as a senior member of the development team, provide guidance and support for less senior team members
* Participate in project team meetings and communicate effectively with peers, architects, system analysts, business analysts, project managers and other members of the extended team

Prerequisite Knowledge & Proficiencies

Skills Required:

* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal (English) and Ability to work and communicate within a team consisting of technical and business members
* Strong analytical and problem solving skills
* Understanding of complex data integration and migration practices

Skills Desired:

* Experience in Quality Assurance and Continuous Integration is highly desired
* Experience working with offshore development teams

Experience:

* 3+ years of Salesforce development experience including APEX, SOQL, and VisualForce

Educational Requirements:

* B.S. degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS or equivalent
