SALESFORCE PRINCIPLE DEVELOPER

My client, a global leader in the financial services sector is establishing a Salesforce center of excellence in Ireland to provide critical support to the Relationship Management function. They will be part of a global team that provides critical support to 1500+ SALESFORCE platform users and is charged with developing/automating business processes that will drive scale and efficiency. And they will collaborate with business partners throughout the project life cycle.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Work closely with SALESFORCE team and business partners to translate the vision of business partners into design solutions on the SALESFORCE platform
- Design SALESFORCE solutions using standard configuration capabilities
- Design, implement, and maintain SALESFORCE custom solutions using Apex and VisualForce
- Create technical documentation and execute software unit testing
- Lead overall technical architecture and change management process
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to internal partners in Ireland, Texas and Kentucky
- Provide guidance and training to enable other team members to increase their technical skills
- Design and implement custom integration solutions using ETL software
- Work with Vendor support groups to troubleshoot issues and maintain smooth operation and performance of the platform
- Ongoing evaluation of SaaS vendors and alignment of capabilities
- Research and recommend new technologies

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

- Bachelor's degree, preferably in an Information Systems or Financial discipline
- 7 or more years of experience with 5+ in systems analysis for web/mobile development
- Experience with general Agile -based development methodologies
- Cloud based CRM application experience, Salesforce preferred
- Salesforce 401 Developer Certification
- Salesforce 501 Developer Certification preferred

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

- 5+ years of technology delivery or product implementation and integration
- 2+ years of Force development
- Thorough knowledge of Apex and VisualForce pages
- Understanding of SOQL/SOSL
- Solid understanding of cloud and on-premise integration technologies
- Experience with integration 3rd party applications into Salesforce
- Experience working with external vendors
- Solid understanding of Object-Oriented design and programming concepts, Apex and VisualForce preferred
- Programming skills including HTML5, DHTML, CSS, JavaScript, Java, AJAX.
- Understanding of XML/WSDL, DOM, and other W3C standards
- Knowledge of Salesforce configuration and workflow automation
- Experience with ETL applications, IBM Cast Iron Cloud Integration preferred
- Experience with data structures and querying languages, SOQL/SOSL preferred
- Experience creating and consuming Web Services (SOAP/Rest).
- Proficient in ability to identify and pull data from various applications
- Experience updating, managing and deploying source code, experience with Force IDE preferred
- Strong analytical, problem solving and organizational skills
- Strong work ethic with focus on continuous improvement and enhancing the team environment
- Experience performing complex data analysis and data aggregation
- Proven collaborative leadership skills
- Keen ability to navigate organization to find information
