Salesforce Developer

My large utility client requires an experienced Salesforce Developer.

To be responsible for the maintenance, and re-engineering of the Salesforce.com platform that supports the Sales team, including resolution of existing issues, re-designing of custom objects, bespoke development using APEX and Visualforce, and re-designing the various batch processes that update the solution using Dataloader.

Job Outline
Iterative software development involving daily contact with product owners and end users
Responsibility for and accountability to your own product backlogs
Prioritisation of own workload
Provide support for and changes to existing systems
Contribution to the data and solution architecture of all team projects
Integration of new builds, retirement of redundant systems and consolidation of existing software

Skills Required:
Salesforce DEV 401 qualification or proven experience of Salesforce development
Experience with writing and developing triggers, Apex, Visualforce
Thorough understanding of Salesforce development best practices (such as Apex trigger bulk handling paradigms).
Experience of writing Apex test classes and achieving high levels of code coverage.
Experience of working with Salesforce environments, change management and best practices for code deployment (such as using Eclipse, change sets).
Knowledge and awareness of the Force.com APIs and their uses.
