THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:
- Five (5) or more years training/teaching experience in a classroom/corporate setting and/or five (5) or more years of supervisory experience
- Experience in sales and customer service/call center industry
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
- Development, delivery, and measurement of training for Sales team, company policies and procedures, industry specific training, behavioral/employee development, and system training
- Development, delivery, and measurement of training to enhance employee skills and product knowledge as well as provide skills necessary for employee career development
- Preparation of all instruction materials, aids, handouts, and evaluation forms for current and new training
- Keep current on training philosophies and procedures
- Evaluate effectiveness of training activities and propose improvements or modifications
- Work with Management teams to identify priority training needed to address widespread errors
- Assist Management with individual training plans to address challenges with performance
- Maintain positive rapport and strong feedback loops with Connect America Management team and internal customers
- Maintains training and development records
- Actively participates in Continuous Quality Improvement
- Assumes other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Training Manager
- Follows all Medicare, Medicaid, and Private Insurance regulations and requirements
- Demonstrates thoroughness with all work related activities.
- Maintains flexibility to accommodate all department shifts as needed for training sessions during employee hours
- Ensure cost control by coordinating schedules and resources so that training is accomplished with as little overtime as possible and with an appropriate use of supplies, equipment, and aids
- Maintains highest levels of confidentiality regarding both patient and employee records in accordance will all applicable industry and company guidelines
WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Knowledge/experience of adult learning theory and methodology, curriculum development methods, and using online learning systems
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Publisher
- Strong inter-personal skills with the ability to communicate in a clear and engaging manner
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive and energetic attitude
- Collaborative style with a strong commitment to the success of the team
- Strong multi-tasking skills
