SALES REPRESENTATIVE -TELEMARKETING OUTBOUND AND INBOUND CALLS
Job summary :
THIS IS A 6 MONTH CONTRACT WITH POSSIBILITY OF BECOMING FULL-TIME PERMANENT.
The sales representative will recommend and encourage sales of quality and innovative cosmetics to signature spas and salons. This position entails a consistent and professional tone on the phone in order to improve the awareness of the brands.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
-Plan and execute strategies to achieve desired sales goals
-Ensure sales in a manner which ensures quality and effective customer service
-Promote, sell and secure orders from prospective/customers through a relationship based approach
-Establish, develop and maintain business relationships in assigned territory to generate new and maintain current business
-Research sources for developing prospective customers and for information to determine their potential
-Collaborate with colleagues to exchange information such as selling strategies and marketing information
-Contact new and existing customers (25-30/day) to discuss their needs, and to explain how these
needs could be met by specific products and services via phone/email
-Emphasize product features based on analysis of customers needs, and technical knowledge of
product capabilities and limitations
-Identify prospective customers by using business directories, internet searches, advertising ads (Groupon, Team Buy, Buytopia)
-Follow leads from existing clients, participating in organizations and clubs, and attending trade shows and conferences
-Use Salesforce on a daily basis as trained
-Maintain customer records of contacts, accounts and orders using automated systems
-Maintain call logs and reporting details regarding calls
-Prepare sales sheets for orders obtained, and submit orders for processing
-Perform trade show follow up to any purchasing customer and potential lead provided
-Select the correct products or assist customers in making product selections, based on customers
needs, product specifications
-Deliver prepared sales talks, that describe products or services, in order to persuade potential customers to purchase a product or service
QUALIFICATIONS :
-MUST HAVE PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE IN SALES/NEW BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT/COLDCALLING/TELEMARKETING/ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT
-Previous experience working within a territory preferred
-Experience in the salon/beauty industry an asset
-Effective to advanced computer and internet skills
-Strong ability to sell and influence others
-Excellent presentation and time management skills
-Highly self-motivated and goal-oriented, persistent in getting the sale
o Positive attitude a must
-High level of integrity and work ethic
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills
-Bilingualism an asset
-Ability to give full attention to what other people are saying, and be aware of others reactions and understands why they react as they do
-Ability to persuade others to change their minds or behaviour

WORKING CONDITIONS
-This is a full time position. From Monday to Friday. Between the hours of 9 and 7pm. On average a 7 hour working day
-There are several trade shows a year. Travel may include flightand/or driving
-Attendance to most shows is mandatory especially local ones
-Flexible work schedule is required
-The company pays for all expenses related specifically to Trade show for it's employees attending
