Sales Manager (w/m)

Our customer is a global supplier of engineered plastic foams and related technologies, and is by far the worlds leading supplier of Expanded Polypropylene The companys goal is to surprise the customers with innovative products and technologies, and to establish continuously higher benchmarks of customer service. With an international presence spanning all key regions of the world, the Japanese company serves the automotive industry, as well as packaging, sports and a variety of consumer goods markets. The company is primarily selling the Expanded Polypropylene material to clients (moulders and end-users) that develop new applications for various industries. The company has research and development, manufacturing, and moulding facilities in the major industrial centres of Europe, Asia and the Americas.

For further growth in Germany we are looking for a Sales Manager (m/f).

Home Office in Germany

Your key tasks:

-Development of long time customer relationships instead of quick and dirty win type of business
-Serve clients through superb value (Price versus Quality / Consistency / Service & Support) and thereby drive the companys growth
-Deliver the highest levels of customer service.
-Secure current profitable sales (esp. with one of the largest clients in the automotive sector)in plastics and/or foams is a plus
-No specific industry sector experience necessary (if automotive than at least one additional sector)
-Were hiring capability, not track record, so we seek ability over experience.
-Successful experience identifying, qualifying, and closing new business as well as new opportunities within existing customers
-Ability to eliminate complexity, add value; ability to judge character and evaluate business opportunities
-An open and positive mind, keen to engage with customers at all levels and functions
-Hunter as well as farmer
-Fluent in English and German, both written and spoken
