I am recruiting for an excellent opportunity in a bespoke manufacturing company that focuses on the subsea Oil & Gas sector. My client has a global presence and are now looking to strengthen their Northern sales team. The role I am recruiting for is Sales Manager for the Subsea Oil & Gas sector. It will cover the UK and Norway and focus on christmas trees and manifolds mainly. You will report in to the Customer Group Manager for Subsea Equipment, this is an autonomous role that will see you developing 5 or 6 key accounts and also winning new customers. The role is paying £42K + a £5K car allowance and a 10% Bonus paid out quarterly which will take your package to approximately £51K. This is really an excellent chance to get in with a global Oil & Gas company that are market leaders in their niche sectors and will be able to provide you with a very real chance to grow your career. To be considered you will need to have a strong background in developing key accounts in the Oil and Gas sector with main industry players, be able to fully understand customers needs, be technically knowledgeable, have the ability to build long lasting relationships and be commercially astute. Experience of working alongside an internal proposals team will be extremely beneficial. My clients team is hard working, motivated and always busy. They have a light hearted working environment to compliment their hard working culture. You will need to be a team player and be able to work efficiently in such an environment. This is a replacement position and you will be working alongside another Sales Manager. An internal proposals manager and a sales assistant offer internal support and work on the proposals while a project management team offer project support. This is a completely autonomous role and there is no man management included. You will be winning business up to approximately £2M in value and the gestation period can range from a few weeks to a number of months. Numerous client visits and exhibitions will be a part of your role. To start with you will be out a few days every two weeks however this will hopefully rise as my clients business develops. My client is based in the North of England. This position needs to be filled urgently and we are looking to schedule 1st stage interviews within the next 10 days.
