Gesuchte Skills: Sales, Sales manager, Marketing, Client

Projektbeschreibung

Sales Manager - Learning & Development
3 Month Fixed-Term-Contract (likely to roll on/go permanent)
£40K basic salary + £40K OTE + benefits

An exciting opportunity has arisen with one of our Professional Services clients for a Sales Manager - Learning & Development to come on board and lead an innovative new area of their business.

Our client has recently created a range of engaging eLearning modules and classroom courses which cover a wide range of professional service disciplines. These courses, available to purchase via a web portal, have been warmly received by both established and new clients and have already achieved notable sales revenues.

The Sales Manager - Learning & Development will build on the existing sales pipeline and be tasked with developing revenues from the good start they have already achieved in this first year. The Sales Manager will be empowered to recruit a sales team as required to meet these targets as the role progresses.

Main accountabilities:

Using existing knowledge of the learning industry, establish and grow a business-to-business sales channel for both generic and bespoke learning products. All industry sectors both private and public would be targeted by engaging with learning and development professionals and HR departments.

Exploit and grow sales through the on-line eStore by exposing small and medium-sized enterprises, universities, further education bodies and other organisations to the range of services. In collaboration with the Learning Team, design and develop sales and marketing strategies using market segmentation to cover multiple industries, disciplines and learning products.

Create and execute successful marketing campaigns using direct marketing, social media, business specific advertising and any other appropriate channels to extend and grow the existing client base.

Liaise with Partners and other senior stakeholders within our client so that learning interventions are provided as part of their offerings to existing clients and new engagements. The role will include the identification of opportunities as well as, in some cases, the need to persuade individuals to add Learning to their own agendas. Negotiate and put in place revenue sharing agreements for the UK Firm.

Essential experience/qualifications:

*An experienced and effective sales person who has regularly achieved targets and successfully delivered in a contingent salary structure.
*Experience of sales in an HR and preferably learning and development environment.
*Experience of implementing effective strategies in lead generation with a high conversion rate.
*Exemplary customer handling skills including the effective use of CRM software
*Knowledge of procurement processes in the public sector and in large organisations.
*Knowledge of how to grow a network of HR and enterprise learning procurement managers.
*Ideally, a self-starter who can build and motivate an effective sales team

Additional experience:

This new role is in many ways a green field which requires both intuition and care in the planning but combined with the imperative to hit the ground running and produce sales revenue in a relatively short time-scale. We will be looking for someone who has developed a sales and marketing function from almost nothing to one that has rapidly achieved targets.

Rather than experience and knowledge in the creation of E-learning we would be looking for knowledge and experience of how learning is procured in the public sector and in large organisations. Knowledge of tender processes both in the UK but also in Europe and elsewhere would be an advantage.

It would also be an advantage if the candidate could demonstrate an understanding of how compliance, technical material and soft skills are rolled out within large groups of learners.

A basic knowledge of how E-learning is hosted on learning management systems would be valuable.

In accordance with the Employment Agencies and Employment Businesses Regulations 2003, this position is advertised based upon DGH Recruitment Limited having first sought approval of its client to find candidates for this position.

DGH Recruitment Limited acts as both an Employment Agency and Employment Business.
