Sales Ledger Clerk - Aylesbury - 1 month - Negotiable Daily Rate - MUST be SC Cleared

A leading Security and Defence Client of Hyphen is looking for a Sales Ledger Clerk to work on a 1 month interim Basis. To be successful a candidate must be SC cleared.

Primary Purpose of the Role:

§ To ensure that cashflows are maintained to expected rates
§ To ensure credit risk is mitigated through use of given tool-sets and available sources of information
§ To ensure that all deviations from expected cashflows are highlighted at the earliest possible point to facilitate an efficient resolution

Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities/Tasks:

§ Customer credit checking and set-up
§ Customer account review and maintenance
§ Dispute resolution
§ Cash allocation
§ Invoicing of customers
§ Cash collections
§ Credit note process and resolution
§ Foreign Tax
§ Cash forecasting
§ Sales ledger reporting
§ Intercompany recharging

Key performance Indicators against Accountabilities/Responsibilities/Tasks (professional only):

§ Cash collection rates verses forecast
§ Levels of aged or problem debt
§ Speed of dispute resolution
§ Cash forecasting verses actuals
§ Timely highlighting of issues to management impacting on cashflows

Skills

Essential
* Excellent time management skills

* Good Microsoft Excel skills

* A detailed and methodical approach to tasks

Experience:

Essential
§ Previous Accounting Experience in a similar role
§ Experience of Accounting within a fast paced transactional business
§ Board level reporting and analysis

Desirable
§ Experience within a large corporate business
§ At least 5 years accounting experience

Qualifications:

Essential
