Sales Engineer

I am know looking to fill an excellent career opportunity in a bespoke engineering company that focuses on the subsea and upstream oil and gas sectors world wide. The role I am recruiting for is Sales Engineer for the oil and gas and offshore construction markets. You will report in to the Proposals Team Manager. This is a new position that has come about through my clients own expansion. The role is paying up to £35K + 10% Bonus which is split up quarterly and will take your package to approximately £38K, there is also a flexible hours policy.

This is really an excellent chance to get in with a global company that are market leaders in their niche sectors and will be able to provide you with a very real chance to grow your career. To be considered you will need to have an excellent background in proposals/bids, have a flare about your work and be highly motivated for both sales success and to grow your career.

You will need to have been exposed to technical products previously and have a strong mechanical engineering background. My client's team is very personable, vibrant and always busy. They have a light hearted working environment to compliment their hard working culture. You will need to be a team player and be able to work efficiently in such an environment.

This role will be based in the North West of England and you will need to be with in commuting distance.

There will be a small amount of account management however the prime objective for this position is to win new business. The focus for the role will be selling solutions more so than products and you will also need to have knowledge of a solutions sale.
