Sales Engineer

A dynamic, fast growing, family owned business, based in Aberdeenshire is recruiting for a sales engineer. You will have the opportunity to be involved in the growth of a very successful company with a good salary and even better bonus structure in place. As well as this there will be opportunites for international travel.

Main responsibilities include:

Positioning the company to achieve order bookings and agreed targets as defined by the company strategy

To work within a sales team towards developing the market and optimising the opportunities from Clients.

? Compile and maintain detailed sales account plans for major accounts, setting strategies and targets in agreement with their manager.
? Develop working relationships at appropriate levels with target customers to ensure our client is appropriately aligned commercially, technically and operationally to take advantage of all potential revenue generating opportunities.
? Constant monitoring of the market trading conditions and customer specific strategic and operational factors to ensure that current, reliable market intelligence is available from which sound business judgments can be taken.
? To forecast customers requirements and maintaining a current forecast through the marketing and foretasting database.
? Acquire and continue to develop and comprehensive understanding of ACE Winches Products, services and capabilities, and convey to customers any new development which promote the company's brand for quality service and products.
? Communicate customer requirements into the organization and ensure bidding and order processing is activated and followed through to a timely conclusion.
? Be involved during the bidding process and "support" the proposals and project/engineering teams to ensure quotations are of high quality and meet customer requirements.
? Set the proposed selling prices and fully understand the economic effect of each bid.
? Actively investigate, target and develop allocated clients and markets to achieve the company's monthly, Quarterly and annual pre-set sales targets.
? To coordinate the preparation of quotations according to client's project requirements
? Carry out all tasks, duties and responsibilities in accordance with ACE Sales and Reporting Procedures
? Report to the Sales Manager on all forthcoming projects.
? Travel to client meetings both domestic and be prepared to travel internationally as required
? To maintain and update the ACE Sales Contacts Database.
? To be aware and dutiful of the Client's feedback at all times, action and report accordingly
? Attendance at international exhibitions.
? Support of international sales partners.

Qualifications
Essential: Qualification in Sales, Project Management or Business Management. Time served Engineering Craftsman.
Preferred: BSc in Mechanical Engineering or Marine Engineering

Knowledge & Experience
Essential: Proven track record in Proven track record in a Technical Sales Role
Engineering or Sales related work experience
Preferred: Full knowledge of International Winch and Deck Machinery markets, products and associated drive and power systems including applications.
Skills
Essential: IT literate with Microsoft Package experience.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Preferred: International travel experience.

Qualities
Essential: Pro-active, self motivated and able to work under pressure.
Preferred: Driven with thorough attention to detail.
Flexible with a determined and ambitious approach to Sales.
