An experienced Sales Director is needed to join a growing Business Intelligence consultancy who specialise in providing specialist services based around Analytics and Big Data. On the back of a successful last 5 years they are looking to continue this growth and recognise this new Sales Director appointment as a key driver in this growth. As the leader of a Consulting Sales Department you will be leading a growing & enthusiastic sales teams within the analytics and BI market. You will need to be comfortable leading a sales cycle as well as running a high performing team. Responsibilities include- - Budgeting & forecasting - P&L - Reporting on sales figures directly to board level. - Actively growing your Analytics Sales Department. You Should: - Have a proven background in sales - with experience in BI and business analytics - as well as Big Data ideally. - A proven track record in managing a departments pipeline at a Director level. - Have hired and created a strategic sales team. - Built yielding markets focusing on New Business. - Strong understanding of sales products based around - BI, Data Analytics and Big Data (and therefore a strong appreciation of the challenges faced within what is one of theUK's fastest growing industries).
