The Role of the Sales Administrator

What's this job all about?

As one of our Sales Administrators you'll join the Retail Sales Support team, supporting our front-line store staff and Back Office teams processing sales orders. You'll work alongside our Retail Specialists and help them complete the sales at our busiest time.

What will I do?

* Handle customer sales orders from our store teams either online or from inbound calls
* Understand what the customer needs and enter this data onto our sales systems following our sales order entry process
* Understand what issues may prevent a sale taking place, and know how to overcome them
* Record the sales data onto our internal databases, and track your own performance to target
* Support stores with simple questions about their sales and understand which other teams may be able to help them

There'll be lots of other opportunities to pitch in and help out. Depending on how busy we are each of you will be asked to do lots of different things! But don't worry; we'll be there to show you exactly how it's done!

What do I need?

* To be a brilliant communicator who can gain trust and build a rapport with internal and external customers quickly, both face-to-face and on the phone
* Experience working in a target driven environment
* Experience working in a call centre environment, preferably in an internal administration role
* Strong computers skills and experience using web based applications
* Self motivated and passionate, with a very high attention to detail
* The ability to be flexible and adapt to changing environments
* To be flexible, able to work under pressure and a team player
* Have a good working knowledge of Microsoft applications including Word and Excel
