My exclusive and expanding manufacturing client have an exciting new requirement for a Sage 200 Systems Analyst for a 9-12 month contract based in Port Talbot.

To give some background around this role, this business is growing, they have had a previous installment of Sage 200 which was not implemented correctly and they are now facing some challenges around Sage 200.

They require an experienced Sage 200 Consultant to come in, process map, gather user requirements and provide a solution and then effectively implement. The role will contain some training and mentoring of other system users towards the end of the contract so they can keep this knowledge in house as this contract post will come to an end after 9-12 months depending on progress.

Description

The Sage 200 System's Analyst role is to ensure the streamlined and reliable operation of Sage 200.

Responsibilities

- Benchmark, analyse, report on, and make recommendations for the improvement and growth of Sage 200 system.
- Develop business case justifications and cost/benefit analyses for Sage 200 spending and initiatives.
- Develop requests for proposal.
- Negotiate and administer vendor, outsourced, and consultant contracts and service agreements.
- Oversee provision of Sage 200 services, including help desk and technical support services.
- Work with stakeholders to define business and systems requirements for new technology implementations.
- Train, lead and mentor staff around all Sage 200 functions, processes and hand over to relevant staff with a training guide upon completion.
- Direct research on potential technology solutions in support of business needs.

Position Requirements

Knowledge
- Assist in the development and implementation of continuous improvement strategies and plans with a view to enhancing quality according to best practice
- Extensive application support experience with SAGE and SQL server database management systems.
- Excellent understanding of the organisationâs goals and objectives.
- Understanding of human resource management principles, practices, and procedures.
- Strong understanding of project management principles.
