Safety Manager

My client is a well known Government organisation looking for a SAFETY MANAGER to join their team for an initial 6 month contract located in Sydney's CBD.

The candidates will project manage the implementation of divisional safety action plans and coordinate ongoing WHS ACTION MANAGEMENT AND REPORTING.

REQUIREMENTS:

- Relevant tertiary qualifications in in safety management and project management.
- Extensive experience in the development and improvement of systems based approaches to safety management.
- Strong knowledge of legislative requirements and ability to liaise effectively with regulatory authorities.
- An experienced leader with strong communication, consultative and negotiation skills and the ability to liaise effectively at senior management levels.
- Strong problem solving skills, with an ability to develop innovative solutions a pragmatic and collaborative manner, and to work to clearly defined and structured plans, organising workloads to achieve tight deadlines in an autonomous manner.
- Demonstrated ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team in a demanding environment.
