Safety Engineer

TECHNICAL SAFETY ENGINEER - ABERDEEN - CHINA - SAFETY ENGINEERING

My operator client based in Aberdeen has a requirement for a Technical Safety engineer on a contract basis.

This is an exciting and varied offshore project where you will be working between Aberdeen and China. The role will entail you working in Aberdeen and going to the yard in China so you must be OK with working in China for 3-4 weeks at a time.

Working arrangements are 5 days a week in Aberdeen finishing at 3pm on a Friday where you will work 4-6 weeks at a time and then China for around 3-4 weeks where you will work 6 days a week. All expenses will be paid when in China. (PLEASE NOTE THIS ROTATION IS FLEXIBLE)

The role will include safety case delivery, HAZOP work, ALARP, working at yard location in China etc.

You must have strong safety engineering experience and safety case experience. I need a candidate with strong UK safety engineering experience rather than majority of work being in Norway, Asia etc.

12 month contract on offer plus extensions (project is until Q4 2015)
