Safety Coordinator Job

SAFETY COORDINATOR needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in PALMETTO, FL.

TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- EH & S experience in manufacturing.
- Associates degree.
- EH & S regulatory experience.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- This position performs work involving the implementation and monitoring of new or established environmental, health and safety programs and a variety of associated tasks.
- This position will also be responsible for administering classroom training in EH & S.
- Implements, audits and updates EH&S programs.
- Develops and implements procedures and programs to meet the specific safety needs of the plant.
- Ensures that EH&S programs are in compliance with all corporate standards and regulatory requirements. Also prepares and maintains all forms/records as required to meet compliance requirements.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Should be a graduate of a 2 or 4 year degree program from an accredited college or university, and/or equivalent work experience.
- Should have 1-3 years of progressively Environmental, Health and Safety experience in a manufacturing environment and strong knowledge of EH&S principles, practices, regulations and codes: including 29 CFR 1910, EPCRA 313 and RCRA compliance.
- Should be able to perform the physical labor requirements of this position.
