SAAS Engineer Job

SAAS ENGINEER needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Hillsboro, Oregon.

THE BIG PICTURE:

- SaaS engineer to help lead the development of a new SaaS product.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- In this position, the candidate is expected to help rapidly build, test and deploy a complete end to end SaaS, including the RESTful APIs, Web, DB/Engine implementation and NoSQL DB implementation.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- 10 years of general SW development, at least five (5) of which working on commercial quality SW deliverables to be used by hundreds or thousands
- Master's Degree in Computer Science
- At least five (5) years of developing web services, web sites, RESTful API development
- At least five (5) years' experience with Apache/Linux Web Servers
- At least five (5) years database creation/management experience and at least 3 of those using NoSQL type databases
- Four to five (4 - 5) years' experience with Java two to three (2 - 3) years with node.js, mongoDB, Hadoop, and Amazon Web Services
- Experience with scrum/agile development methodologies are a plus
- Experience with other web technologies such as Ajax, JavaScript, HTML5, etc are a big plus
