For a 3 month project (with the opportunity to go perm) at our client's site, an international bank based in Zurich, we are looking for an experienced:
RUSSIAN SPEAKING COMLIANCE OFFICER (4561)
The ideal candidate takes responsibility to complete risk assessments for PEPs (Politically Exposed Persons), during the relationship opening and periodic review process covering Anti-Money-Laundering Risk and Reputational risk aspects as well as to support the global roll-out of the PEP risk scoring model.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:
- WORK EXPERIENCE IN THE BANKING SECTOR WITH COMPLIANCE/AUDIT/RISK CONTROL WITH EXPOSURE TO AML/KYC AND HIGH RISK CLIENT TOPICS OR WORK EXPERIENCE IN A FRONT POSITION WITHIN THE RUSSIAN MARKET
- College or university degree (Bachelor or Master degree or equivalent) in areas like Political Science, History, Risk Management, Law, Business Administration or similar
- INTERESTAFFINITY AND KNOWLEDGE OF THE INTERNATIONAL POLITICAL DEVELOPMENTS IS A KEY ASSET
-FLUENT IN ENGLISH AND RUSSIAN (ORAL/WRITTEN) - German, Chinese, Arabic would be a plus
As the ideal candidate, you know the russian market and are up to date with political issues and public discussions. If you can show and express your interest in these topics, we are glad to consider your application.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Asses PEPs using public information sources and create reports based on your findings
- Opportunity to support Regulatory and Audit requests and to coordinate the regular monitoring and review tasks (eg PEP Review process)
- Opportunity to participate in working groups and projects to improve/implement PEP related issues/projects and to train/coach junior staff to conduct abovementioned activities
