Ruby Software Developer Minitest, Ruby required for our client based London.

You will be Working with a content designer to understand changes in policies, calculations and other domain rules - Updating the corresponding Smart Answer to reflect those changes, making sure it''s covered by automated tests - Gathering feedback about the changes and addressing it - Reviewing fellow developers'' pull requests on GitHub.

Deploying the changes to production and making sure nothing is broken - Constantly improving the codebase to make future changes easier (this includes negotiating change requests and suggesting better solutions to the problem)

The candidate needs to be confident with Ruby, minitest (or other testing frameworks) and git.

Ideally a candidate would also be able to communicate well with less-technical people. The latter is required to explain how the tool works to content designers so they understand what the implications of content changes are.
