Ruby/Rails Developer for Multinational Institution in Rom/Italy

We are looking for a Ruby/Rails developer to work at our multinational client in Rome/Italy.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Analyse, design and implement solutions
Enhance the IP system for new Change Requests
Develop new and enhance existing applications along with enhancements to web sites, web applications and infrastructure
Perform hands-on coding, mentor junior developers and assists in architecting web content solutions
Provide expert focal point knowledge in Server Side web presentation technologies
Update the IT Knowledge Base
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: University degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field with at least 6 years enterprise development experience, of which 2 years experience will be with the Ruby on Rails Development Framework using Behaviour/Test Driven Programming methodology. Participation in open source projects and the publishing of technology articles or ownership of a technology blog is highly desirable.
LANGUAGES: Full command of English is essential.
COMPETENCIES:
Good knowledge of enterprise patterns, Object Oriented Design patterns and programming techniques
Knowledge of major Agile Project Management techniques (Scrums, XP, etc.)
Experience in reading and writing main UML diagrams
Knowledge of GIT versioning systems
Knowledge of the most used Web development technologies (CSS, Ajax, JavaScript frameworks like jQuery or Prototype)
Graphic design capabilities
Successful candidates will have a proven track record with the following technologies:
Databases: CouchDB, PostgreSQL, Oracle 10g, Sybase, MS SQL Server
Operating Systems: Mac OSX, Linux, Windows
