Ruby on Rails Software Engineer

*TOP NORTHWEST BASED COMPANY SEEKING RUBY ON RAILS SOFTWARE DEVELOPER.* This application is used by internal employees only. There will be some work writing Views but a majority of the project time will be spent writing Back End code.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 2+ years' experience developing highly interactive, web applications
- 2+ years' experience Ruby on Rails
- Experience developing web portals, particularly with MVC architecture/design in Ruby on Rails
- Expertise in CSS, JavaScript/AJAX, web services, and code level HTML
- Experience developing in a Linux environment and using Git

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 4+ years' experience developing highly interactive, web applications
- 4+ years' experience Ruby on Rails
- Experience developing web portals, particularly with MVC architecture/design in Ruby on Rails
- Expertise in CSS, JavaScript/AJAX, web services, and code level HTML
- Solid understanding of Object-Oriented design and concepts

This contract position is expected to be 4 months in duration.
