Projektbeschreibung
You will have in excess of 12 months' Ruby experience and be an accomplished developer with over 3 years' solid behind you already. Being used to working in an agile environment you will join an existing team of 7, working at pace to tight deadlines.
WORKING ON A LARGE SCALE WEB (ENTERPRISE) APPLICATION, DAY TO DAY ACTIVITIES WILL INCLUDE:
- Migrating client information into the Ruby system
- Developing new imaginative code
- Problem solving (individual and team)
ANY EXPERIENCE OF THE BELOW WILL BE A DISTINCT ADVANTAGE:
- TDD or BDD (RSpec)
- Capistrano
- Chef or other orchestration tool
- Postgres
- Linux administration/Bash
- Apache and/or Nginx
- Passenger
You will be provided with a fun environment and a Mac and multiple screens to work on.
THIS COULD LEAD TO LONG-TERM WORK as contractors have already been on site for over 6 months. High likleyhood of permanent employment if you are interested.
