I am currently in search of an excellent Senior Ruby on Rails Developer to join the development team of a large and successful construction company. The role is based in London.
Essential skills:
* 3+ years commercial Ruby on Rails experience
* PostgreSQL or MySQL
* Familiarity with Agile Methodology (TDD/BDD/XP/Scrum)
* JavaScript / jQuery
* HTML/XHTML/CSS
* Linux
* Version Control using Git or other distributed system
Desirable skills:
* Backbone, Jasmine
* Testing (Cucumber/Rspec)
* Deployment (Chef/Capistrano) - CI (Hudson/CC/Jenkins)
* Experience in a 24x7 environment
* Experience in programming complex financial calculation
