My client, a leading name in the telematics industry is on the lookout for an experianced senior Ruby on Rails Developer to join the team on a contract basis to help developep smart phone apps for their clients.
My client currently provies services for insurers worldwide and are looking to expand their team due to rapid growth.
The contract would be based from new offices in Sheffiled.
DESIRABLE SKILLS:
* Ruby
* Rails-HTML/CSS-W3 Standards
* Experiance with OO principals and best practices
* Javascript
* MVC
* PRC style services (Thrift,Rest,etc)
* Comfortable on the UNIX/Linux Command Line
* Knowledge of query languages
* Unit testing with R-Spec
* Computer Science Degree ( Or Equivalent)
This contract position would suit a Developer who is happy to work from the clients offices in Sheffield and who is available immediately.
