RUBY/BUILDER DEVELOPER ( RUBY - PERL - SHELL SCRIPTING - C/C++ )

MOTIVATION:

- Extensive knowledge of Ruby (not just Ruby on Rails (RoR) and Bundler
- Good knowledge of Perl
- Unix/linux
- Shell Scripting
- Makefiles
- PreferablyClearCase Administration
- Preferably knowledge of C/C++

DELIVERABLES:

- Prototype dependency management system based on Bundler and including enhancements to provide ClearCase integration and customisations.

JOB/ROLE DESCRIPTION:

- My Client has a very large software development environment and in order to improve efficiency there is a need to split up the software archive into independent modules.
- For this we require an experienced ruby developer (not just Ruby On Rails (RoR) to create a system to manage and assemble the independent modules from multiple sources including ClearCase, git and possibly others.

TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Enhancement and customization of the open source Bundler tool to provide ClearCase integration and capability to manage non-ruby modules.
