RPG 400 Analyst Programmer

We are looking for an experienced RPG ILE developer to join our client on a long term contract.

The developer will assume an application development & maintenance role reporting to a Software Solution team leader.

The role will be to investigate issues within the I-Series applications and/or be part of project teams developing new solutions.

You will need the following:

General skills:

Ability to work both independently & in team
Ability to work under stress
Good communication skills
Good analytical skills
Good knowledge of English (verbal & written) is essential

Technical skills:

At least 3 years experience in software analysis & development on I-Series
Programming languages: thorough knowledge of SQL and RPG ILE (Free) including
Embedded SQL
Knowledge of IBM Rational Developer and IBM Data Studio
Knowledge of XML
Knowledge of communication methods on I-Series: MQ Series, FTP, DDM, IFS
Familiar with PC windows MS Office

This role would ideally suit someone based in Belgium as travel expenses are not included.
