Rollout Project Director - Romania

We are currently recruiting for our client, a global Telecommunications Company for a Project Director to join their project in Romania.

Position Title: Rollout Project Director

Position Type: Contract

Start Date: December 2014/early January 2015

Duration: 6 months rolling

Responsibilities:

Management of whole project planning, progress control, quality assurance and cost control covering all aspects for whole project.

Responsible for project plan human resource plan, budget plan, cost control and negotiation with operator and subcontractor.

Provide regular internal and external progress reports and presentation.

Responsible for KPI of the project, such as QAC, PAC, FAC, collection.

Coordination with operator, set up a good and depth business relation with all levels team in operator.

Coordination with subcontractor and supplier, set up a good and depth business relation with them, and manage the budget.
-

Coordinate with internal teams.
-

Work in high pressure environment, motivate and manage all necessary relation and resource to speed up the project progress.

Perform other activities, accordingly to professional competences, on direct manager request.

Share the experience to all team members.
-

Respects all internal rules and regulations related to work, administrative tasks, reports and company internal order regulation.

Qualifications/Skills Required:

-

Degree/diploma in telecommunications or business related discipline.
-

Minimum of 15 years experience in managing large Mobile telecommunications projects.
-

Sound technical background covering the installation, commissioning and integration tasks for fixed and mobile products.
-

Demonstrated subcontractor and operator management and negotiation experiences.
-

Strong commercial experience and ability to co-ordinate with various departments and stakeholders at all levels in a professional manner.

Ability to work in an intercultural environment.
-

Fluent Romanian and English (verbal and written).
-

Willingness to travel frequently.
-

Relevant project management certificate is a plus (eg Prince 2, PMP, and PMI).
