Rollout Coordinator-Deployment Manager

Michael Bailey Associates is looking for a rollout coordinator/Deployment manager who can start on the first of May for a 2 months contract with option to extend.
Location will be the Netherlands.

Language: English.

SHORT DESCRIPTION:
The project will implement changes which impact all users of the IT systems in the Office.

THESE CHANGES WILL INCLUDE:
- the transition from Lotus Notes Domino email and calendar to Microsoft (MS)
-Exchange and Outlook email and calendar (for circa 7000 users)
- the upgrade of the Microsoft (MS) Office 2003 to the MS Office 2010 products
- the introduction of MS Lync as communication software to implement instant messaging, presence, desktop based videoconferencing and desktop sharing (for all users).
- the migration of MS Office SharePoint 2007 to SharePoint 2010 as a collaboration platform

DELIVERABLES
Work together with the project team and the stakeholders to achieve the project's objectives
Prepare deployment plan
Document and manage the deployment process
Update/maintain the rollout planning
Coordinate communication tasks
Coordinate with the training department
Liaise with the different departments to ensure the best user support
Assure that the deliverables comply with the business needs
Conduct team meetings, progress reviews and technical reviews.
Prepare reports to the project manager and business representatives
Visits to other locations in Munich Vienna and Berlin

Required skills
Excellent communication skills in English both orally and in writing.
Proven experience in working with people in a multinational, multicultural environment
Strong knowledge of MS Office 2010
Ability to communicate with different stakeholders
Excellent analytical, planning and organizational skills (ability to handle numerous different issues in parallel)
Experience in meeting users needs within business constraints
Proven experience in software deployment
