PROJECT DESCRIPTION
client is undertaking an initiative to transform their global Wide Area Network Service. A project has been started to implement a range of connectivity services to fulfil the business objectives, by replacing current connectivity services and introducing new/innovative network solutions to End Users. Besides implementing the technical network solutions, the project will ensure process integration by implementing integration between service management tools of different vendors in the IT Value Chain.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
The roll-out coordinator will be responsible for execute migrations of client sites from the Legacy network environment to the new network environment. The migrations will be prepared and executed by a small team in conjunction with the vendor for network services, client Regional IT Managers, Regional Service Delivery Manager and the vendor contacts. The roll-out coordinator will work closely with the Project Lead for the Rest of World Region, who is responsible for migrating approximately 120 sites.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare predefined Site Implementation Plans (Run Books) with specific site contact details, to be used for each individual site migration
- Prepare and execute migration according to a predefined process to ensure fulfilment of all required steps and deliverables, including communications, technical readiness and testing
- Prepare and Coordinate Cut Over activities in cooperation with vendors, client IT support staff and 3rd Parties, including the organization of required (pre-)migration meetings
- Ensure resources are identified, planned and committed for migration activities
- Ensure suitable communication to end users, in cooperation with the client Global Service Desk
- Track acceptance criteria and arrange sign-off
MANDATORY
- Proven Project coordinator on network migrations, capable to coordinate and organize migrations simultaneously, while keeping up high quality processes with different vendors
- Experience with Infrastructure projects
- Fluent in English
